Geeee, how many songs are there out there written around a G progression??? 10 million???

I don't hold that against anyone...

It's how one puts the little twists in them that makes them memorable, or not...

If ya' strip the blues down to the basics, there ain't a whole lotta different songs... I mean, a blues player go anywhere, find the local blues jam and fit right in... Ain't rocket surgery... Folk ballads are even more predictable... And don't even get me started on country music... Talk about formula??? I don't think there are but 3 country songs... Just different words...
