I haven't seen the programme but I agree Ruby Tuner is the highlight of any JH concert. We've seen him most years recently at outdoor concerts (MUCH too loud indoors)and regret Ruby tends only to come on in a fake "encore" set at the end. His other singers, Louise Marshall and Sam (daughter of Joe) Brown, are excellent. Usually too much of JH singing and little light & shade in his playing (unlike UK's other Boogie Woogie star Ben Waters). Gilson Lavis has been with JH since their duo days and is always celebrated by the billing "featuring". Mark Flanagan (gtr) and Chris Holland (keys) often open the concerts with their own groups but usually underwhelm.

Just my twopennorth.
