I decided a new thread would be better than adding to the other. Karen just called me. She sounded tired and said she's been better. Pat is back in the ICU unit with a fever of 107 on a cold blanket to try to get it down and on constant temperature monitor. He's back on the vent. His mind is still working....he's aware. She said he is so skinny...something she would never have thought she's say about him.

They are very strict about visiting in the unit, so she is going to go to work, tonight, in order to be able to see him, tomorrow, as they are getting a hug snowstorm.

Please continue to do what you can. Karen said the Sing really helped and I told her we'd do it, again. I'll re-up that thread..maybe we could just do it at noon or midnight, whatever is best for each person, with him in mind, every day if possible.
