The project you're working on is not just de-clutter, obviously, but also restoration and reutilization. If it would help, I'll reiterate that Clutter's Last Stand by Don Aslett was very helpful in deciding what to keep and what had to go. At this point in time my cupboards are neater, my drawers are organized (even the one that used to hold the big tangle of tools and odds and ends!) and most of my closets are looking good. A couple are still full and need some triage. With any project like we've been doing or you describe, it will get better and then it will get messy, as something needs to be disassembled or several pieces moved to reach one, etc.

These threads are the place to vent, to make plans, to ask questions. Heck, our spin-off output includes a cure for cancer, so we can't be doing too bad! (Michelle gets all of the credit for the very hard work, but we were the rooting section!)

When you're not doing all of this moving and de-cluttering, what is your occupation? Is that where the kiln came in?
