pdq,
Actually that was a performance at the Bitter End in NYC, with the late Dennis Linde ("Burning Love")on Bass, and yours truly on flat top guitar, and Mickey in his "captain's" chair picking his nylon string... That was the evening Dennis and I "plotted" to speed up "Tell Me Baby. Why You Been Gone So Long", as I joked about during the Ormstown show with Bruce and Ron.......Yes! Odetta was in the front row.....She was always very supportive of other musicians, as far back as I can remember, a great lady....Shel Silverstein was in the front row, as well! He, Kris, Mickey, Dennis, and I had flown up from Nashville together, as we were recording the sound track for "Ned Kelly" the following day....He's not mentioned on the cd, but Mickey is whistling on a track or two, also....He whistled as beautifully as he sang!!! May Odetta, Shel, Dennis, and Mickey all rest in peace....They are truly missed......
