Up and busy early this morning. The kitchen (minus about 10 minutes worth of dishes) is looking good as is the table beside my chair. All mail clutter has been sorted...usually it sits on the table until I can't stand it...not today. Mostly junk anyway. I ordered several earth colored cardboard magazine box holder things...I have no idea what they are officically called but since Pete doesn't like to throw away his guitar, fishing or gardening magazines and I have some I like to keep too..they come in handy. However....I set one aside near the kitchen table and that is where I keep this week's paper (yep...only a weekly paper here), various Pennysavers and this week's sales flyers....it keeps the paper stuff OFF the table and up to date...works much better than a pile for me!!!

Jeremiah was up twice during the night (highly unusual) as he's cutting some teeth. The poor boy is drooling more than a St. Bernard and LOVES LOVES LOVES to chew on Mama's *bling* (if you knew me in RL, you'd understand why that's funny...I have only a few piecese of jewelry that I wear all the time). He has a book that he loves to gnosh on too...it's not a board book but it's some kind of indestructable paperish stuff....crinkly too...he loves it and it survives the drool (and Mommy can wash it often). He doesn't like the baby teethers so much or a damp wash cloth to chew on. Funny though, he LOVES to chew on the wash cloth when he's in the tub! Go figure!

Anyway, he's napping, we are relaxing and as soon as the Wee One wakes up, we're headed to town to pick up a Christmas gift that a family member gave us (a gift card for a over the stove microwave). I'm psyched about this because our microwave takes up limited counter space AND you can never tell when it's going to work right. We only use it to warm up soup, baby food and coffee but this morning, it blew half of my coffee right out of the cup (same cup, same time as always). The other I made Pete a bowl of soup, burned my finger (left a mark) on the handle of the bowl and the soup was still cold. I'll be glad to see that go!

Ok, so microwave, wood pellets, eye glasses, pharmacy and loading up a truckload of wood for a friend, then back home. Ahhhhhh.

The comforter idea is good. We have a full size bed and always get blankets a bit bigger so there is a lot of draping over the sides and also, it makes for less cover stealing (ok...I'm usually the guilty party). Mom got us a set of polar fleece sheets for Christmas...can you say LOVE?!!??!? I don't want to get out of bed in the morning...they are so soft and sleepy, cuddly warm! We don't heat our bedroom, so they are especially wonderful!!! I gave my mom a twin sized blanket for her living room last year. She has throws (me too) but they are just long enough to go to the top of her feet....not long enough to tuck under, so we both found that the twin sized blanket was perfect for cold winter evenings while watching a movie or reading a book! :)
