15 January: After HALO jumping into Afghanistan (had to pop the 'chute 10 feet above ground) I proceeded to gather the intelligence I was sent in to get. Had to fight my way out through hordes of angry Taliban using nought but my bare hands, but that was nothing unusual. Back safe and sound; the information should bring THAT unpleasantness to a quick end. Missed tea at Windsor, blast it all!
