The weather probably contributes to the sleepy feelings, Michelle. On our heavy overcast days here it is tempting to roll over and go back to sleep.

Scanning and updating my son's computer. I'll probably move it out of his room before I pick him up in the spring because he'll be bringing his college computer.

The modem and router are up and running; as I set the old equipment aside, and knowing that he generally had a good connection to his room, I did wonder if the culprit to my room had been a dodgy cable. I'm not going to put the old stuff back to find out, it had been in service for probably three years and was bound to fail soon even if it hadn't now, but I tossed the cable just to play it safe.

I went to see The King's Speech yesterday. It was wonderful, story, cast, and music. Looks like a major Oscar contender. I go in spurts, getting out to movies, but it is something I can do for myself, and if I go to a matinee it only costs $5.50 at my local theater. I had to sit down at IMDb to look up some of the people - I knew the faces but somehow the voices were a bit different, or the hair and makeup were just different enough that I had to place them later.

Lots to do around here, I'll choose something and try to finish it, so I end the long weekend with a feeling of accomplishment. I think today's focus should be in the hall right outside my office.
