Bonnie, The way I heard it is "We're given 2 ears and 1 mouth and if we use them in that basic proportion, we'll probably do OK" as per John McCutcheon. It does seem like some people on the net use the proportion of 2 eyes and 10 fingers, though. And as to realizing what a little neo..., I've expressed as much before, but that's a real sign of progress. I know when I start thinking too highly of myself, I'm not learning and when I realize how much I have to learn, I make a lot more progress.
