Shooting the banker while the banker had a gun to Luann head? Dangerous move! You would think that the banker would have pulled the trigger when he was shot. Do you think that was what the Sheriff intended? Saying to Jesse, well I tried to save her but things went badly? Perhaps the Sheriff waited until the banker moved the gun away to brush a deer fly off his nose or something. They don't say. And what's this about getting married after the mortgage was forclosed and the banker shot. Do you think that they might have lied about their marital status on their mortgage application? I can understand cowboys killing each other with six shooters but lying on a mortgage application is unforgivable.
