That paperwork does present a challenge - it's very personal, so whoever sorts it needs to try to go by the dates, subject, however you want it organized, without reading all of the details, or on an emotional front, being swamped by it. At the same time, it needs to be done because if there is one thing that most of us know, insurance companies yank you around. You need your documentation in order for when they mess up on paying a bill.

After my cancer surgery (which happened quickly and involved a lot of different doctors, anesthesia, etc.) the stupid hospital turned me over to a collection agency for a bill I didn't know that the insurance company hadn't paid and I never received. It finally took a conference call between the three of us for the insurance company and hospital to get down off of their respective high horses and settle the matter. I didn't owe the money and was annoyed at what could have been a black mark on my credit.

Today I'm annoyed by what seems to be a stye in my left eye. Hard to keep from poking at it (even with a hanky if my eye tears). I need a nap.
