Smoked a pope before I turned to cigarettes. I was 15 years old, and I thought it would make me look older. Went back and forth for quite a few years. Now that tailor made cigarettes ae 6 bucks a pack around here (and rolling tobacco is almost as dear) , I have steadily puffed away on a pipe (with only a few cancer sticks when I run out of tobacco). In fact my hobo monicker in the Rose Tattoo is "Smokestack".
