Subject: RE: BS: Declutter, Exercise, Diet, February 2011
A "dietician" is concerned with, even trained in, nutrition. Hence, it seems strange that the word "diet" has come to have such a bad rap as only being ways of losing weight. Our diet is, in fact, that which we eat: the nutritious or non-nutritious materials (some I would not consider food!) we ingest. Whatever edibles we ingest comprise our diet, for better or worse! The amount of calories in our diet .... My diet today included half a pan of brownies. I better not make brownies again soon! Nutrition is what we need in our diet. Other than brownies, I had a bowl of beef stew, a piece of cheese and a small bowl of one apple, granola and plain yogurt. Not too bad. Lots of water and one cup of green tea.

I am still considering ways to get exercise in this cold weather. I need to be more mindful of getting a walk in on the better days. These have been far apart lately. I am moving the scale to the upstairs bathroom so I can use it after my bath. It was barely accessible down here. Accessibility is important. Tomorrow - if the predicted blizzard permits. Also a shelf for bathroom essentials. Not even a place to put clean towels right now.

Two years ago I was living in a well organized home. It is a slow and challenging journey to get to that point again! But it is happening. I need to think KITCHEN. And keep plugging away at what is.
