maeve... good link... he actually was the first fiddler to appear on commercial TV in NA. Not that such is an accomplishment but it is a kind of trivia that... well... means something to those that grew up listening to his music. The "interview" with him on the CBC news was short but, at 90 years old, he still seems sharp as a tack.
