Crack is in the side that rests against my legs when I play. It is in the same direction as the grain of the wood. I would say it is about half the length of the guitar body. I saw it for the first time yesterday because I ran my hand over the guitar and felt the rough edge. There is a small (quarter-inch?) bit that looks stove in as well.
