Guest John MacKenzie, I totally agree. Some of us don't have the option of travelling with the more expensive airlines. But nevertheless, I feel the cutprice ones have a minimum duty to passengers, to be quite clear about extras and 'hidden' charges, to have a seat for you if you've booked (and not to double book the thing!) , to depart and arrive on time unless unavoidably delayed (not on a whim), to provide a modicum of comfort especially sufficient legroom to avoid DVT, and to keep one informed of problems and changes. I find Flybe to be very good, not dirt cheap but I have no alternative here in Norfolk for domestic flights.Guest number 6, you're right, can we be sure they adhere to the minimum safety requirements? Gulp!
