Just read through some of the list! Bill Clifton drove a Bentley and I can remember being driven to Bradshaw and being able to see over the walls! His justified it because you could always sell it for the price you bought it for as they never depreciated in value - I wouldn't know as I've never had one.
I can also remember making a crochet waistcoat (those were the days) for Ed Pigford and taking it to him when we went up to Birtley for a Miners' Benefit gig. And we'll not mention the red trousers I made for Bill Barclay!
