What I think women really want is this:

1. security (both financial and emotional)

2. love and appreciation from those whom they love

3. respect (which goes along with appreciation above)

4. and a good time (fun, in other words) (this can include all kinds of enjoyable activities from the most intimate to the social, the recreational, the cultural, etc., and it requires a partner with a good sense of humour, and who enjoys life).

I can understand perfectly well why they would want these things, by the way... ;-) It's pretty much what I want too.
