After our cold weather the drains are running slow. Last week and this, after the cold cold days in a row, the washer drain overflowed. I'll try the usual home remedies and running hot water through before I call the plumber - he fixes the problem but also declutters my wallet! If I run a smaller load it isn't such a problem, and if I watch when it drains and turn off the washer for a couple of minutes it drains. If this doesn't clear up I will call the plumber before it's time to plant the garden or he'll be knocking down my basil on that side of the house to reach the cleanout.

Beautiful day today, I'll be sure to walk the dogs and get in a little more gardening. At this point I'm cleaning out the dead stuff from over the winter, and popping out the cold weather weeds.
