What a good day. Wholeheartedly agree Richard with regard to Ben Little - he deserves a much better guitar and it would do a maker no harm at all in using him as a show-piece. We went on until 19:30 at the Anchor - nice pub and great landlord and Royston was brilliant but I was off to see 'The Blockheads' so I don't know how it went after that.
I think with a day like that it may be better to just do a mid-day to 7 o'clock in just the one pub, unless of course people want to carry on as they please. The Blockheads - absolutely brilliant and as tight as ever. A really stunning set and all in all a superb day. I hope the supported charities did well and well done to Brandywine Music for putting on such a Grand Day Out.
