OK, I get it now: The lyrics that RunrigFan posted do fit to the tune of SIMPLE GIFTS, but I didn't recognize them. They are not the lyrics I am familiar with, and it looks like they have never been posted at Mudcat before. Google books doesn't find them. I'd like to know where they came from (I mean, where the King's Singers got them).
