I sent out a tip last week for setting your default so those who don't post often on facebook will show up in your feed. facebook changed the settings recently. Here's what I sent to a friend this afternoon (who doesn't use facebook often but did get the message I sent her):

HERE'S THE FIX: Scroll down to the bottom of the newsfeed on the homepage and click on "Edit Options", click on "Show Posts ...From" and change the setting to "All Of Your Friends and Pages"

The problem is that the default now only lets you see people you've heard from in the last couple of weeks. So someone you want to read any time they post, if they don't post often, you won't see it. Setting it to show all of your friends and pages goes back to the way it was before.

I went to the village park board meeting today, and I addressed a problem of one new neighbor encroaching on the undeveloped park by putting in his own trees and shrubs, even put his patio chair out there. I want all of that out of there - if they wanted a larger yard, they should buy one. They can't co-opt part of the public park. I'm about to make a stink about it because the park board didn't have a clue what I was talking about, and the city employee who told the folks it was okay had no authority to do so.

Should be an interesting spring here in the neighborhood.
