I've auditioned for a variety of positions at our local renaissance festival, from individually as a "street character" and solo performer, to auditions as part of a musical ensemble. I also just showed up at a cider mill and told the owner that we'd (a duo) like to perform for his weekend crowd. If he liked us he could hire us, if not, then we'd had fun rehearsing outdoors on a lovely autumn day. I always got the job, and was always amazed! hesperis and WyoWoman really hit the nail on the head. As a wise person once said, "when you believe it, you will see it." We're with you.
