I opened my mailbox on Friday, with bated breath, because I just knew my Rosewood Kazoos were going to be there, and they were!Oh, they are beautiful and the sound is wonderful. Not the thin sound one gets from a kazoo made of tin or plastic, but a warm, woody sound.
When I opened the package, I expected them to look like your standard kazoo ... shaped like a tube. Oy! Was I surprised.
The dimensions are 3 1/4 x 3 3/8 x 3/4.
They aren't squared off and look sort of like a barn with a sloped roof. At the very top is the mouthhole.
Mr. Foley's signature is burned at the bottom of one side.
I am very lucky, indeed, to own two Rosewood Kazoos made by Mr. John Foley in Connecticut.
