My conundrum is that the BBC can afford to send two teams of people around the world for an esoteric (nonetheless fascinating) series of programmes, but won't support a programme like Folkwaves, which is cheap as chips!
I feel that some of the financing of the trips would have come from TV. Radio doesn't have that sort of budget.
