There's a pop song from the 'forties called "Blue Skies," which has the line "Nothin' but blue skies from now on," but it's not the first line; as I recall, it's the final line in the chorus/refrain. I don't remember who or how many singers recorded it back then, but I recall that Willie Nelson recorded it in the late 'seventies or easly 'eighties.
