Negative comments can be useful, even if we don't like them. The only one I had was a typical intemperate comment which seemed as much to be about the song as my performance. However on listening to the clip again, I decided I was not satisfied with my performance of the song and I had not done it justice so I removed the clip.

Will Fly's approach strikes me as a much more sensible one than the OP's. Block abusive posters but leave more constructive negative comments alone.

I don't understand the OP's objection to revealing his You Tube ID. If you're that ashamed of your videos, then take them down and do them again.
