Well, Peter, if your town, shire, village, county isn't sending a lorry around for your trash, there is a Traveller from Clare, living in England who rattled the bars of his local counsel until they did. Perhaps you might take a cue from him. There are rights we have as citizens, and collection of trash and delivery of mail and such are gennerally seen as rights.

In the US there is a police racial profiling manual (a completly un-constitution concept by the way) which has a paragraph in it on how to spot Romany family's cars. It then goes on to say that once the suspects cars are found, how to find the Romany people. It is one of the clearest statements of the idea of the Romany person as a permanent suspect of crimes unspecified.

The rest of the manual is equally in violation of international and US law, but at times is almost funny 'Be careful of identification in court as all Gypsies look alike..." is one of my favorite lines.
