Michelle, Michelle, Michelle,

Who cares if the house is a mess today, and looks like Toys-R-Us crashed through the roof? Today of all days, just enjoy it! Revel in it! You're free of cancer! You have a lovely baby boy! Do you remember where were you last year? How frightened you were? Yup, you see? Enjoy it!

It's going to look like Toys-R-Us for a while longer. Years. You'll be able to do Morgan-like things and have Jeremiah help you, and as you lose weight you might get to where the insulin isn't required. But for today - enjoy being alive, and being a Mommy!

I finished proof-reading a long thing for a co-worker. Faculty publishing and award recognition that we set up as an exhibit in the library each year. This will be the third time. It makes me want to sit down and start writing.

Ran the dishwasher tonight just to give it a cleaning with the dish detergent and keep the inside looking and smelling good. I haven't done that for a while. I rarely use it, I always drain my sink-washed dishes in it, but I don't want it to become an embarrassment.

I made a favorite casserole tonight of pork, onions, tomatoes, and eggplant. The tomatoes and eggplant came out of my freezer. The casserole is going to be many lunches this week. I also found that same Middle Eastern cookbook has a lot of information about preparing okra. Good! I plan to use a lot more this year.
