Thread Name: BS: Bad things about losing weight
Subject: RE: BS: Bad things about losing weight
It's the same mini-meal program we have posted and preach-- which I learned from a diabetic friend who taught it well. Peeps at our house have been on it for years now. For me the goal has been SLOW loss so it HAS been slow, and for Hardi it's been a faster goal that he also achieved. The former approach allows as much shrinkage as aging skin is gonna get. Enough protein in the mix keeps muscle loss low-- another reason mine has been purposely slow, to be as cardiac-muscle-sparing as possible due to prior damage.

Any food is allowed as long as the healthy stuff haz been et first and a glass of water consumed. And as long as the exercise program has created an active metabolism (we call that the salamander.)

Don't forget about recovery snacks-- skip them and your cravings go up past the controllable stage. Plan for them and they speed the weight loss and the fitness improvement.
