After a long creative hiatus, a couple of practical solutions have gotten that back on track-- in time to make this my own Lenten discipline. (Hardi and I do not preach deprivation in Lent!)

The songs I'll focus on (playing now on the puder) have already been my dark-winter glimpse of brighter skies. I started actual work on them yesterday and made a few minutes' quick work of the songs in boldface below (before the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper); the rest of the list's lyric sheets are awaiting arranging notes. One of those is already "done" enough to do in a few weeks:
