Now how did we end up nearly falling off the page?

I went to my meeting - I've told a couple of folks the details, and I'm tired of typing, but sum it up to say it went well, and the folks who thought I was going to insist their trees be torn out for no good reason understand that I recognize this as the reason we need to develop a sound park plan and to act upon it. The council told everyone that notice is served - no more trees. I still want those out (poor choice and badly placed), but I'll bide my time. They'll probably die on their own. I haven't had support for a comprehensive park plan in the past when I tried to get them to act; this time I have more time and I'm simply going to push to get what I want.

I'm a bit buzzed after the adrenalin of the meeting - that happens. I'm winding down and then tomorrow, thank goodness, is Friday. :)
