Next door the computer is dead! Long live the computer! The Dell is kaput, and after I showed my neighbor where the hard drive is ("take it out of there, please") she put the case in the garage to go out to Goodwill or someplace. The new Lenovo (I prefer HP, but the Lenovo was a little cheaper and it was her money) is finally up, after we struggled through the blutooth settings on the mouse and keyboard, and I put her data back in after updating it and such. Several hours spent, but she now has a very nice all in one touchscreen and should have many hours of lovely browsing. It's so fast compared to the old one - that is what will hit her first.

She has a 1Tb computer and I put in 1 CD (700meg) of data that she accumulated from the last 9 years on the Dell. Talk about overkill!

MOM's form of browsing is perusing the books in the front room, but that's fine. There are days when I much prefer pages that don't involve popups.
