Stilly, there have been a couple of reasonably smart women who did try to snatch me up. One of them devoted 5 years to the task. Thank God, neither one of them succeeded in the end! It was like hell on Earth. ;-) (though not ALL the time, I'll admit....it just got more and more that way after a certain point...)

I have experienced loneliness alone. I have experienced it in (intimate) company. The latter is definitely worse. Now I seldom feel lonely at all anymore.

But....you never can tell. I might take the plunge again sometime. Anything is possible.
