I heard Carolyn at the Grant Park (Chicago) Folk Fest in 1989 -- I had already moved away by then, but had a Chicago conference, and made a point to come in early for this.

I hadn't heard of her before, but liked her so much I tracked down her vinyl, which was not easy. I think I finally got it from her personally. I bought it because I especially liked "Ascending woman"
