thank you all so much - your support means so much. as many of you know from personal experience it is wonderful just to know that someone is thinking about you - when you are doing it tough

Mark is getting weaker each day - spending more time asleep.
the dificult stuff is that life has to keep going on - the kids are in "big" years in school (they are 17 & 15) - but the assignments etc still have to be handed in - and they are under immense pressure - the school knows and is doing what it can.

in answer to someones question - the extended family is in Ireland (thank god for skype) - but there are friends and support nurses helping out.

I am coping ok at the moment - not sure how I'll go when he gets more difficult to look after - but I'll do as much as I can for as long as I can. but the doubt is there as to "am I going to be able to do this?" and that can be a bit scary at times.

I may not post as often as I check in on this thread - but believe me I am checking in, and I thank you all again for the kind words and thoughts
