Just digging out from a rahter complex road trip.

Let me preface this next entry: We have experienced a housefire (in 2000) and are well cognizant of fire risks.


The corner where my only presently-working puder sits, from which a lot of good work is done on a daily basis, is several degrees colder than the already-cold LR where it sits. I keep thinking of our dear (late) Giac, and how her pudering so unfortunately was also limited by cold and finance.... what would SHE have done if she'd had the means? So for the last 3 days the oil-filled rad that has sat in my LR this winter (and occasionally been used) is now ensconced underneath my puder desk with alert-lights to remind Hardi and I not to leave the room without turning it off.

And I'm WARM as I address the day's work, for the first time all this bitter winter! Yep! It's not spring here! March came in like a lion and went out like an angry elephant.
