The bunkbeds flunked both the attic stairway and the attic window test, and then flunked the van test-- I had so hoped I might use one for boondocking.

They will be going to Hardi's "classroom" at the church where he sleeps when icy roads threaten safe Sunday AM travel to the church, where he has had a mattress on the floor for years. (Because there are two frames this also means I can finally go with him, and sleep there, too.)

When we eventually leave the area (unless a really worthy need presents itself sooner), they will be added to the parish's annual yard sale where local needy families furnish their homes.
