How sad is this? Folkweave came to the Sing Out Folk Club in Crewe in 1977 (Peter Pilbeam was the producer, but I can't remember a presenter coming to the club). Anyway, I was one of the resident singers recorded and broadcast ... and I still have the BBC payment slip!! I just shoved in a box and... well ... it's still there! Performance date was 3 Feb 1977 (it says) and I was paid £20, less £1.16 NI!!
I remember that on the day of broadcast, I was at a parents' evening at the school I worked in, but I must have got someone to record the programme.... no idea where that is - certainly not with the payment slip!
Peter Pilbeam is still going strong - I had an exchange of letters with him last year!
