Are eagles one of the birds where the biggest sibling deep-sixes the other/s? Three chicks so far, and Mom seems to be taking turns feeding from a fish and what looks like a small hare. When a bite pulls off too big, she eats it, when it's small, the chicks get it (sometimes with a bit of maneuvering to fit it down a small gullet.

Low energy today. I suppose it's part of the process of considering the presentation from the candidate for our current boss' job - and contemplating all of the things I'd like to finish before he leaves. I must prioritize! It may also be allergies.

I'll work at home tomorrow, meaning my hours can be more flexible- if I work this evening I work fewer hours tomorrow, or if I take time off tomorrow I can make it up on the weekend. I'll see how the weather looks and plan from there.
