Well, darn. Last time I used my mp3 player I evidently didn't turn it off (I remember pulling the plugs out of my ears when someone asked me something, and I bet that was all I did.) It's charging. I'm getting ready to go dig a trench in the front yard and thought the Saturday NPR programs would be pleasant company. I can probably take a little radio with a speaker out and listen to it instead. The player is going to have to charge for many hours.

It's hitting 90 today, but I've decided I need to work out there even thought it's afternoon and it's hot. In the front I'll have shade after a little while. I have my jug of drinking water and out I go.

First, I have bags of dirt to mix together with compost and amendments and put in the garden, and to pick up more. I'll water now so the area softens up, and dig when it's shady.
