The other chore I did was a BIG one - I emptied shelves next to the side door in my garage and I hung an 8' x 4' pegboard by myself. The trick is to figure out where you want the bottom edge to be and to screw a solid chunk of wood to that spot. Make it level, that helps. Then I simply maneuvered the sheet by dragging one corner on the floor until I could rest the bottom edge on that support. It's easy to lift if the chunk of wood is now supporting it, and from there I put in support screws into the studs (I had some spacers to keep it a bit out from the studs so the pegs will go in all of the holes).

Part of my trip to Home Depot yesterday was to pick up a lot of hooks for the peg board, and I moved a couple of dozen things from the shelving and from my workbench onto that wall. Things I'd forgotten I own because I couldn't see them. Now I can. I then moved stuff from under the workbench and stored tools in better places. My bench is completely clear, and the things that are still useful but not sorted are on one shelf near the door. That's okay - I will eventually put all of those packaged nuts and bolts into a jar. It's all of the left-over bits from installing any number of things around the house.

I can reach my vice grip and I can see all of my saws. I can open the top of my tool cabinet (it sits on one side of the workbench). So tomorrow or the next day I'll be able to cut my rough cedar boards and make that table top. Better I cleared this out today instead of building the table, because there are so many things I'll be able to do in there now.

There's still work to do in there, but for now the workbench is wonderful and I can pull my truck in. I considered leaving it out, but an emergency weather spotter announcement on the radio convinced me that in is better.

Laundry is spinning now, and one load was washed and line dried today. Linens changed. Kitchen isn't looking too bad - won't take long to finish the dishes tomorrow. My sting is still an occasional twinge, but I took another benedryl (and can feel it - I'm heading to bed in a minute).
