Does that include not paying your mortgage or rent? I work for a business- but it is privately owned. If the tenants went on strike against them, they'd be out of business - and the tenants would be homeless.

Like others before me, I think this is poorly thought out. Why not just resolve to use public transportation for a week? - it would help the environment, encourage better schedules, and just maybe let people decide that Hey! This isn't so bad!
