Our class sang this in a South Townsville State School concert at the Theatre Royal in about 1947 I think. More recently on holidays at Coonabarabran, upon discovering a friend also knew it, the two of us busked it in front of the Tourist Bureau to much amusement if little critical acclaim or financial reward.
