I`ve never been to Rudolstadt, but from the lineup they DO have music outside their highlited topics. And if I remember correctly people told me that there is music outside of the regular program, sessions and busking. You might inquire at office@tff-rudolstadt.de.

If you make it, you might meet a few Berliners - quite a few prople are regulars.
