Hardly unobtrusive or user-friendly. Things like this shouldn't happen except by explicit request. Highlighting is the first step for copy/paste, and to have unwanted garbage popping up every time you highlight something is a royal pain. It's particularly hostile to people with slower connections. All these optional features should only pop up when you do something explicit to invoke them, like clicking an icon, right-clicking and selecting an option in a context menu or typing a special keyboard shortcut (iffy). Does no one remember the annoying "helpful" Microsoft paperclip? This is just like that. Nice concept, bad way to implement it.
