It's amazing. This thread has been up nearly 14 years and new verses to this old song are still appearing. Well, here's my contribution.

My dad learned this verse as a little boy in the late 1920s along the Mississippi in Loiisiana. Someone in the area may have had the 1923 Wendell Hall record since he has the third line of the chorus as 'How in the world can the old folks tell' like Hall's record rather than the more common 'How in the heck can I wash my neck', but the verse he sings is entirely different from any on Hall's record:

Took my gal to the railroad station
Train let out some steam
Blew her dress right over her head
And oh how she did scream! (singer screams)
