Have to say, I think 'grim' is a pretty fair assessment!

Never seen the Unthanks live, so can't comment on that, but I don't feel they have covered themselves in glory in their TV appearences, which, as they seem to be one of the folk acts who are the 'media darlings' of the moment is a great shame and a wasted opportunity.

As to Annahata's last question, there are any number of better candidates, but of course, the only acts that will make national TV will be the acts who the media perceive as having a wider appeal, (Bellowhead, Mumfords etc)
