Hi, all! I haven't posted much during April, because I haven't done much. The house is in pretty good shape because I've had folks over for meetings a couple of times.

My right knee has been hurting a lot for the past couple of weeks. It feels like somebody is driving a spike into it. The rain & cold weather hasn't helped, either. I haven't gone to the doctor, because I figure he'll just tell me that it's because I'm fat, and to lose weight. I already know tha-at!

But for the last few (3) days, I've managed to keep my carbs below my 180g daily target. Every time I get up to go to the kitchen, my knee hurts so bad that it reminds me not to eat. So I ought to see some results by the end of the week, if I keep at it.

Tomorrow I start my new part-time job, doing some bookkeeping for a local non-profit. I should be able to manage with 8-12 hours a week, once I get into a routine.

I hope to be able to plant my broccoli seedlings next week. They say May 15th is the last day for o'night frost.
