I've moved more craft stuff into the sewing room, but I've stopped at the paints, crayons, and pencils. No particular reason, though they're classic kid stuff and the rest in the sewing room is more grownup crafts. My daughter's things that she didn't take to college are in her closet hanging, or in boxes. I'll have to compress the crayons and probably leave them on a lower shelf in the cupboard.

There are a few projects from my mother's house to work with. She had completed one latch hook rug piece but didn't mount it. There was another one she selected for me and we discussed, but she barely started it. I'm not into latch hook myself, but I'll hold onto it. I t would be nice to mount and display the one she finished. I also have a portion of a braided rug she was making. I always loved those, and she made several when I was a kid, I remember helping with the braiding. She has the first section of one finished, and I may go ahead and work on that. Are they a lost art now? They're easy and beautiful.

I went to the dentist this morning, and though I wasn't in the chair for a full hour I felt it until mid-afternoon. Until anesthesia wore off I was hungry and careful not to bite myself. It was the most disconcerting tingle and tickle - you can imagine I didn't get much work done. On my way home I stopped at my eye doctor's office and ordered a pair of Rx sunglasses. If I'm going to drive back and forth in the desert southwest, I need good sunglasses, and this time I had them made as bifocals. Another expensive month.

I made a bread pudding this evening, and as a late dessert I spooned several of my home canned peach slices into a bowl, then added the warm pudding on top. Mmmmm!
